Brancaster Beach
Brancaster Beach is perfect for a day by the sea. Its vast expanse of golden sand is ideal for walking, sandcastle building, and beachcombing. The shallow waters make it perfect for paddling, and at low tide, you can see the remains of the SS Vina, a shipwreck just off the coast. Dog walkers will love the open space, as the beach is dog-friendly all year round.
Walk the
Norfolk Coastal Path
Brancaster sits along the Norfolk Coast Path, offering spectacular coastal views and a chance to spot local wildlife. Head west towards Thornham and Holme-next-the-Sea for quiet dunes and birdwatching, or walk east to Burnham Deepdale and beyond for picturesque harbors and creeks.
Birds
At RSPB Titchwell Marsh
Just a short drive from Brancaster, RSPB Titchwell Marsh is a must-visit for nature lovers. The reserve has a mix of saltwater lagoons, reedbeds, and sandy beaches, attracting thousands of birds throughout the year. Look out for avocets, marsh harriers, and even the occasional spoonbill.

Brancaster Staithe
Brancaster Staithe is a hub for sailing and watersports. The harbor is home to the local fishing fleet and is a great place to try paddleboarding or kayaking. Visit the famous White Horse pub (probably our favourite place for a treat) for stunning views across the marshes and some of the best seafood in Norfolk.
