What types of pitches are available?
We offer a range of spacious pitches tailored to suit your needs. Choose from grass or hardstanding pitches, with electric hook-up options available. Whether you’re bringing a motorhome, campervan, caravan, or tent, we’ve got you covered.
We also have a peaceful adult-only area for those looking for a relaxing retreat and a family-friendly field near the play area, perfect for children to enjoy.
What types of vehicles are permitted on-site?
We welcome a variety of vehicles, including motorhomes, campervans, caravans, and cars. If you have a larger or unusual vehicle, feel free to contact us in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you
Is it dog friendly?
Yes, we welcome up to 2 well-behaved dogs per group. There’s a short dog walk on site, and many nearby attractions, including Wells-next-the-Sea beach, are also dog-friendly.
Are there any facilities on-site?
Yes, our facilities include clean toilets, hot showers, a washing-up area, and chemical disposal points. We also have free Wi-Fi available in reception.
How far is the campsite from local attractions?
We’re centrally located in North Norfolk, just a 20-minute drive from Wells-next-the-Sea and within easy reach of other attractions like Sandringham, Holkham Hall, Blakeney, and Cromer.
Can we have campfires or barbecues?
Barbecues are welcome as long as they’re raised off the ground to protect the grass and there is a spare bacon butty for us!
Unfortunately, open campfires are not permitted for safety reasons.
Is there a minimum stay?
During peak times, such as bank holidays and summer weekends, we may have a minimum stay requirement. Please check when booking for specific details.
Can I arrive outside of the stated check-in times?
We ask that you arrive during the check-in times provided when booking. However, if you’re running late, please contact us, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
Are you family friendly?
Absolutely! We are a family-friendly campsite, offering a safe and relaxed environment for children to enjoy.
Can I choose my pitch?
We’ll always do our best to accommodate your pitch preference, but we can’t guarantee specific pitches. Let us know your preference when booking, and we’ll do everything we can to make it happen!
How can I book a pitch?
You can book your pitch on-line, sending us a message on our contact page or by contacting us directly via phone or email. We recommend booking early, especially during peak times, to secure your spot.
Are there local shops nearby?
Yes, Fakenham town is just a short drive away, with supermarkets, independent shops, and a selection of pubs and cafes.
Do you require a deposit to secure a booking?
Yes, we ask for a small deposit to secure your pitch. The remaining balance is payable 2 weeks before arrival.
Do you offer seasonal pitches?
We don’t currently offer seasonal pitches, but we’d love to welcome you for short stays or multiple visits throughout the year!
