Held each spring, the Cromer Crab & Lobster Festival celebrates the town’s proud fishing heritage. You’ll find cooking demonstrations, live music, street performers, and plenty of delicious crab and lobster to try.
What’s On at the Cromer Crab & Lobster Festival
The fun kicks off on Friday 16 May with an opening concert on Cromer Pier. Expect sea shanties, dancing, and a lively crowd. Over the weekend, the action moves to Evington Lawns, where you’ll find food and craft stalls, family activities, and a packed schedule of live performances.
A highlight is the cooking marquee, where top local chefs show how to prepare fresh seafood. Whether you fancy a crab sandwich or grilled lobster, there’s something for every taste.
Treasure Hunt and Charity Auction
The festival also features a unique Treasure Chest Art Trail, with colourful painted chests hidden around town. It’s great fun for all ages and ends with a charity auction in August on Cromer Pier.
Make a weekend of it and stay just 40 minutes away at Fakenham Fairways. Our peaceful campsite is perfect for relaxing after a day of seaside fun. We offer spacious pitches, a 9-hole pitch and putt, and a golf driving range. It’s the ideal base for visiting Cromer, the coast, and the surrounding countryside.
Whether you’re here for the food, the music, or the family atmosphere, the Cromer Crab & Lobster Festival is a must-visit event this spring.
